Our Gold Series products have varying finished or overall dimensions, depending on the size of the vent. If the smallest dimension is 4-inches or less, the overall finished dimension will be 1 1/2 - inches larger than the vent/duct size. For instance, on a 10x4 vent, the finished dimension will be 11.5 x 5.5 inches. If the smallest dimension is larger than 4-inches but less than 14-inches, the overall finished dimension will be 2-inches larger than the duct duct/vent size. For instance, on a 10x10 vent, the finished dimension will be 12 x 12 inches. If the smallest dimension is 14-inches or larger, the overall finished dimension will be 2 1/2 - inches larger than the vent/duct size. For instance, a 16x16 vent, the finished dimension will be 18.5 x 18.5 inches.

Holes/Backer
Select holes if wall or ceiling application or secured to floor with screws. If floor application and you desire to simple sit in place, select no holes. Solid Backer (Blocks airflow through the decorative face), Louvered Backer (Allows airflow while concealing the opening behind the decorative face.)
